Early Amazon Listing Reveals New Philips Hue Smart Home Devices Ahead of IFA 2025

Just before Berlin’s major consumer tech event, IFA, an early leak on Amazon UK’s website has revealed several upcoming Philips Hue smart home products. The leaked listing shows a new Philips Hue Doorbell featuring two-way audio, package detection, and seamless integration with Philips Hue smart lighting systems. Additionally, a new version of the Philips Hue Bridge has been listed, which is essential for connecting many Hue devices to Wi-Fi. Philips Hue also appears to be launching a more affordable line called ‘Essential,’ which might not require a bridge, aligning with trends among other smart lighting brands. Another intriguing addition is a new technology termed MotionAware, which utilizes ZigBee-enabled smart bulbs for motion detection, potentially allowing bulbs to automatically turn on or off without the need for extra sensors. This functionality could also offer security alerts integrated within the lighting system. The leak followed the buildup to both IFA and CEDIA expos, where many new smart home technologies are scheduled to debut. Philips Lighting/Signify has not yet responded to requests for comment on this early product reveal.
