Anker Introduces Affordable Home UV Printer with 3D Embossed Printing Capabilities

Anker has unveiled the eufyMake E1, a $1,900 tabletop UV printer designed to bring high-quality, embossed, 3D-effect printing into homes and small businesses. Unlike traditional printers, the E1 can print detailed, 1,440 DPI images on a wide variety of surfaces, including ceramics, metal, wood, and acrylic. The printer stands out for its ability to create textured, raised prints that mimic the look and feel of painted artwork, making it especially appealing to artists, crafters, and Etsy sellers. The device includes a rotary attachment for printing on curved or tapered objects, such as thermoses, and can tilt up to 30 degrees to maintain image accuracy. Anker claims the E1 is the first home-use UV printer with 3D texture capabilities, a technology previously limited to expensive, industrial machines. The printer is controlled via a dedicated app, allowing users to adjust print parameters, image placement, and depth effects. It uses proprietary inks, with the initial supply sufficient for around 1,000 small prints, though 3D printing uses more ink. Printing speed is moderate, with small prints taking about three minutes, while larger, textured pieces may require several hours. The E1 will launch via Kickstarter on April 29, with early backers able to secure the device at a reduced price. Anker did not comment on potential pricing changes due to ongoing US-China trade tensions. The eufyMake E1 aims to democratize access to advanced UV printing technology for creative home users.
