Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Series 11 Offer Notable Battery Life Improvements Over Previous Models
Apple has announced the Apple Watch Ultra 3 and Series 11, both of which come with significant battery life improvements over previous models. The Apple Watch Ultra 3 offers up to 42 hours of battery life under normal use, compared to 36 hours on the Ultra 2. In low power mode, both Ultra 3 and Ultra 2 can last up to 72 hours. The Series 11, while not matching the Ultra models, sees an increase in battery life, offering up to 24 hours of normal use and up to 38 hours in low power mode. Additionally, all three models support fast charging, with the Ultra 3 and Series 11 being able to charge up to 80% in about 30–45 minutes, which is a significant improvement over the Ultra 2’s slower charging times. These enhancements highlight Apple’s focus on improving battery performance, a key area of concern for smartwatch users. This year’s models bring long-awaited updates to Apple’s smartwatch line, particularly for users who value extended battery life. The improvements in both battery longevity and charging speed are expected to be some of the most important upgrades for customers looking to upgrade their Apple Watch.
