CDMX and Hidalgo Partner to Share Digital Tools for Government Modernization

On November 27, 2025, the governments of Mexico City (CDMX) and the State of Hidalgo officially announced a partnership aimed at modernizing public administration through digital innovation. The agreement allows Hidalgo to adopt a range of advanced digital platforms and systems developed by the Digital Agency for Public Innovation (ADIP) in Mexico City. These include digital authentication, unique digital records, remote procedures, digital citizen services, open data systems, and automated chatbots. By implementing these tools, Hidalgo aims to streamline administrative processes, reduce bureaucracy, enhance transparency, and improve citizen access to public services. For Mexico City, the collaboration reinforces its status as a national leader in digital government services. Hidalgo benefits by avoiding the cost and time required to develop its own systems, enabling more efficient allocation of resources.
