As they were projected onto the large screens, the couple quickly ducked out of view, prompting Coldplay’s lead singer, Chris Martin, to humorously comment on their behavior, further fueling speculation about their relationship. The video quickly went viral, and the tech company launched an internal investigation into the matter. While it was not initially confirmed if Byron was one of the individuals in the video, the company stated that he had been placed on leave. Following the incident, Byron tendered his resignation, which the board of directors accepted.
