On January 19, 2026, China successfully launched a group of low-Earth orbit (LEO) internet satellites from the Wenchang Space Launch Center in Hainan province using a Long March 12 carrier rocket. The mission, which placed the satellites into their intended orbit, marks the 19th batch for China’s national satellite internet constellation, known as GuoWang or SatNet.
