Anysphere, the company behind the popular vibe coding platform Cursor, has launched Bugbot, a new tool designed to help developers spot errors in their code, especially when working with AI-assisted coding agents. Bugbot integrates with GitHub and automatically flags errors when changes are made. While this feature is helpful for human coders, it is especially crucial for AI coding agents, which operate quickly but may introduce hard-to-detect errors. The tool is now available for $40 per user per month, and existing Cursor users will pay an additional fee for access. Bugbot is designed to detect specific types of errors, including logic bugs and security issues, and to ensure that AI-written code doesn’t introduce new problems. Anysphere’s team tested the tool during a beta phase and found that it could even predict its own failures, reinforcing its reliability.
