Eufy Unveils AI-Powered Security Cameras with Color Night Vision and No Subscription Fees

Eufy has introduced two new security cameras, the EufyCam E40 and the SoloCam E42, both featuring AI-powered technology. These cameras are designed to enhance home security with advanced features like color night vision, 2K resolution, and improved human detection. The EufyCam E40, with its MaxColor Vision, captures full-color video in extremely low light, a feature first seen in the EufyCam S1 Pro. This camera also offers the advantage of local storage, eliminating the need for cloud subscriptions, and supports solar power to reduce recharging frequency. Meanwhile, the SoloCam E42 boasts 4K resolution and PTZ (pan-tilt-zoom) capabilities, making it versatile for monitoring wide areas. Both cameras emphasize energy efficiency, offering solar panels for continuous power and long-range video transmission options. The EufyCam E40 is priced at $280 for a two-camera bundle with HomeBase 2, while the SoloCam E42, featuring deterrent sirens and lights, will be available from August 5 for $399. These upgrades reflect Eufy’s commitment to providing cutting-edge security solutions without the burden of ongoing fees.
