Guanajuato Introduces Digital Transformation Agenda 2050 to Boost Innovation and Public Efficiency
Guanajuato has unveiled its Digital Transformation Agenda 2050, a strategic initiative aimed at advancing modern governance, enhancing transparency, and improving public management efficiency. Coordinated by IDEA GTO, the program is structured around four key objectives: creating an efficient digital government, fostering a connected and inclusive society, driving a competitive digital economy, and ensuring ethical governance. The agenda has been designed through active participation, with over 2,000 locals providing input on their concerns and hopes regarding technological advances. The initiative also includes a significant commitment to ethical AI use, in collaboration with UNESCO, making Guanajuato the first state in Mexico to adopt international guidelines for responsible AI development. The state’s commitment to inclusion and equity will guide its digital transformation, ensuring all citizens have access to the tools and skills needed to thrive in the digital age. Guanajuato’s Digital Transformation Agenda 2050 is poised to be a national model for tech-driven social development.
