iOS 26: Key Features and Updates in Notes and Reminders Apps
iOS 26 introduces significant visual and functional updates to Apple’s built-in Notes and Reminders apps. Both apps adopt the new ‘Liquid Glass’ design, offering sleeker, more rounded, and translucent interfaces. In the Reminders app, notable new features include AI-powered Siri suggestions, automatic categorization of tasks, and a more accessible Control Center option for creating reminders. The app now intelligently suggests tasks based on content from emails and messages, making it easier for users to organize their to-do lists. For Notes, while fewer updates were introduced, the addition of 3D graph support for mathematical equations stands out. Users can now create 3D graphs from equations like z=sin(x^2 + y^2), with the ability to resize and move them. Other improvements include a new scrolling toolbar for easier access to tools, markdown file support, and a search bar that’s always visible in the Folders view. Additionally, call recordings from the new Phone app can now be saved directly to Notes with transcriptions. iOS 26 aims to improve both productivity and design, ensuring a smoother user experience across devices.
