Eufy E340 Floodlight Security Camera Reviewed: Prime Day Discount and Features

The Eufy E340 Floodlight Camera is on sale for $142 (35% off) during Prime Day, offering a significant discount on a feature-rich home security device. This model stands out for its dual-lens design: a 3K wide-angle lens and a 2K telephoto lens capable of 8X zoom, which captures details like faces and license plates from up to 50 feet away. Equipped with two adjustable light panels emitting up to 2,000 lumens, it effectively illuminates large areas such as backyards and driveways. The camera includes AI-powered tracking, 360-degree panning, 120-degree tilting, and the ability to return to preset positions. Unlike many competitors, it offers local storage via a microSD card or Eufy’s HomeBase 3, and does not require a subscription. Additional features include black-and-white night vision, two-way audio, a 95-decibel siren, and activity/privacy zones. Although the video’s frame rate is limited to 15 fps and it requires a wired power connection, it delivers solid performance and convenience for long-term use. Editor Simon Hill recommends this model based on over a year of personal use, praising its reliability and functionality without monthly fees.
