LiberNovo Omni: A Motorized Office Chair Designed to Relieve Back Pain with Real-Time Posture Adjustments

The LiberNovo Omni is an ergonomic office chair that aims to address back pain through real-time posture adjustments. Priced at $1,099, it features a motorized spine and lumbar support system known as the SyncroLink Mechanism, which adapts to the user’s movements for optimal posture. The chair’s ‘bionic’ backrest contains 16 joints and 8 adaptive panels, designed to mirror the spine’s natural curvature for enhanced comfort and reduced strain. Additionally, it offers four recline modes for different scenarios, such as deep focus, solo work, soft recline, and full recline. The chair is powered by a portable battery pack, offering up to 30 days of use on a single charge, and is compatible with USB-C for recharging. The product has raised $8.5 million through Kickstarter and is set for general release in October. Preorders are available at a discounted price of $849, with several accessories included. The chair aims to be an innovative solution for office workers struggling with back pain, particularly those who need more dynamic and adaptable seating.
