Motorola has unveiled its 2025 lineup of Razr flip phones, now offering three distinct models: the Razr, Razr+, and Razr Ultra. The new devices build on the foldable format with enhanced durability thanks to a titanium-reinforced hinge and smoother displays designed to minimize creasing. Each model varies significantly in specs and price. The base Razr, at $699.99, features a MediaTek Dimensity 7400X chip, 8GB of RAM, and a 6.9-inch foldable OLED display. The mid-tier Razr+ upgrades to a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and 12GB RAM, while the flagship $1,299.99 Razr Ultra boasts the high-end Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, a 7-inch screen, 16GB RAM, and up to 1TB of storage. A standout feature across the lineup is the vivid use of Pantone colors and premium materials—especially the Ultra, which includes a wooden finish. AI features are also integrated via Moto AI and Google Gemini, with functions like notification summarization. All phones run Android 15 but only come with three years of OS updates. Availability begins May 7 in the U.S. and Canada, with varying carrier partnerships. While visually appealing, especially with sustainable materials, the Ultra’s steep price and limited update policy may deter some buyers.
