Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to Discuss AI and Investment Opportunities with UK Technology Secretary Liz Kendall

Huang is in the UK to address the Cambridge Union Society and receive an award at the Queen Elizabeth Prize for Engineering. The UK government is focusing on AI growth, with plans for AI Growth Zones (AIGZ) across the country. While concerns about AI’s potential impact on jobs remain, the government hopes to boost the economy by attracting investment. In June, Nvidia announced a £2 billion investment in the UK, and Huang has previously described the UK as being on the brink of a new industrial revolution in AI. The meeting with Kendall comes as the government continues to explore more locations for AIGZ and discuss future investment in AI infrastructure. Huang’s discussions with Kendall are expected to further solidify Nvidia’s relationship with the UK government, aiming for continued collaboration in AI and technology sectors.
