Pixel Buds Pro 2 Update Brings New Features for Better Audio and Hands-Free Control
Google has started rolling out a major update for the Pixel Buds Pro 2, improving audio quality and introducing new features. The update, version 4.467, includes Adaptive Audio, which dynamically adjusts the volume of surrounding noises while you enjoy your content, ensuring that you remain aware of your environment. Another feature is Loud Noise Protection, which reduces the impact of sudden loud noises, such as sirens, protecting your hearing. In addition, the update introduces head gesture controls, allowing users to answer calls or respond to texts with simple head movements, enhancing the hands-free experience. Lastly, the update enhances the clarity of Gemini Live interactions, even in noisy settings, by prioritizing your voice and filtering out background noise. To access the update, users should go to the Pixel Buds app, navigate to ‘More settings,’ and check for a firmware update. However, the rollout is gradual, so it may take a few days for it to appear on all devices.
