Plaud Unveils the $179 Note Pro, an AI-Powered Notetaker with Improved Features
Plaud.ai has unveiled its latest hardware product, the Note Pro, a $179 AI-powered notetaker designed to assist with capturing meeting notes and call recordings. This new version improves upon its predecessor, the Plaud Note, by offering an upgraded microphone system and longer recording capacity. The device now features four MEMS mics, compared to the two in the original model, increasing its audio capture range to 16.4 feet and providing better noise suppression. The Note Pro also includes a small 0.95-inch AMOLED screen for displaying information like battery level and recording status. Users can enjoy up to 50 hours of recording on a single charge, with the standard range providing 30 hours of usage. The companion app for the Note Pro includes new features like text note-taking, image addition, and “multidimensional summaries” that generate insights based on user roles. An exciting beta feature also allows users to query their notes. The Note Pro is available for preorder with shipments starting in October 2025. Plaud is offering 600 transcription minutes and a magnetic case for preorders. The company claims that its AI hardware has shipped over a million units, with a significant percentage of users opting for the premium Pro plan.
