Prodrive’s Racing Simulator Offers Realistic Performance with a Luxurious Design
Prodrive, a renowned British motorsport specialist, has unveiled a new version of its high-end racing simulator, blending cutting-edge technology with luxurious design. Originally introduced in 2022, the simulator has been revamped for 2025 with premium contributions from top British manufacturers. Designed by Ian Callum, former Jaguar design director, it features a carbon-fiber tub suspended by a stylish bentwood frame that resembles fine furniture rather than a typical gaming rig. The 2025 model includes bespoke finishes crafted by superyacht builder Pendennis, leather upholstery by Connolly, and enameled identifiers by Vaughtons, the same company that badges Aston Martins. The simulator’s audio is powered by Bang & Olufsen, offering users either Beoplay HX headphones or a sculptural A9 speaker. Functionality hasn’t been overlooked: the simulator boasts a high-powered gaming PC driving a 49-inch 5k-resolution curved monitor, a steering wheel with customizable controls, and a pedal box that accurately mimics the braking feel of motorsport vehicles. As a result, the Prodrive simulator delivers an immersive experience, with the performance and realism to match the company’s winning cars on the track.
