Replit Raises $400 Million in Series D at $9 Billion Valuation
Replit, the AI-powered platform enabling ‘vibe-coding’ where users describe app ideas in natural language for AI to build them, announced a major funding milestone on March 11, 2026. The company secured $400 million in a Series D round, achieving a $9 billion post-money valuation. This marks a triple increase from its $3 billion valuation in September 2025, when it raised $250 million. The round was led by Georgian Partners, with participation from G Squared, Prysm Capital, Coatue, Andreessen Horowitz, Craft Ventures, Y Combinator, Accenture Ventures, Okta Ventures, Databricks Ventures, and celebrity angels Shaquille O’Neal and Jared Leto. Replit’s growth stems from shifting focus to non-coders, allowing broader adoption through AI agents that turn ideas into deployable applications. Previously, in the 2025 round, Replit reported trajectory toward $150 million ARR. No updated ARR was shared here, but the company aims for $1 billion ARR by year-end 2026, signaling confidence in the exploding demand for accessible AI software creation tools amid competition in the space. CEO Amjad Masad noted this success followed nine years of persistence and a controversial pivot away from pro developers.
