Samsung Introduces 32-Inch Color E-Paper Display for Digital Signage
Samsung has unveiled a new 32-inch Color E-Paper display (model EM32DX) aimed at enterprise and digital signage applications. The device features a QHD resolution (2,560 x 1,440) and uses E Ink’s Spectra 6 technology, delivering color images that are more true-to-life and readable thanks to Samsung’s proprietary imaging algorithm. With a built-in 4,600 mAh battery, the display can function for over 500 days on a single charge when showing static content. It also has efficient energy consumption during updates.
This new product is part of Samsung’s commitment to sustainability, featuring fully paper-based packaging and a back cover made of 55% recycled plastic. It weighs only 2.5 kg and measures 17.9 mm in thickness, with symmetrical 13.9 mm bezels. Connectivity includes two USB-C ports, WiFi, Bluetooth, and 8GB of internal storage. Users can manage content and device functions via the Samsung E-Paper app on Android and iOS, or remotely through the Samsung VXT platform, which offers centralized control and monitoring. Additionally, integration into existing enterprise systems is possible using Tizen Enterprise APIs.
The 32-inch display is now available for $1,350, or $1,200 for bulk purchases over 150 units, with deliveries starting mid-June.
