Decart’s AI Model Transforms Live Video in Real-Time, Offering New Creative Possibilities

A startup called Decart has created a groundbreaking AI model named Mirage that transforms live video footage in real time. This model allows users to manipulate videos on the fly with text prompts, generating surreal and psychedelic results. The technology shows immense potential for the future of live streaming and gaming. Mirage works by modifying video frames in real-time, with an emphasis on achieving high-speed calculations and video coherence. Users can create and alter their own videos, including YouTube clips, with various themes like ‘cyberpunk’ or ‘anime.’ During a demonstration, Decart’s founder, Dean Leitersdorf, uploaded a Fortnite clip that was transformed into an underwater setting. In addition to video content creation, Mirage’s technology was also demoed in a Minecraft-like game, showcasing its interactive capabilities. Despite the challenges of real-time video generation, such as computational limits and error correction, Decart is working on expanding Mirage’s resolution to full HD and 4K.
