VivaTech 2025 Reveals 30 Most Innovative Startups Competing for Innovation of the Year

The VivaTech 2025 Innovation of the Year Award recognizes the most forward-thinking and impactful startups exhibiting at this year’s event. Open to all companies participating in VivaTech, the award highlights those that excel in innovation, creativity, market disruption, and scalability. After evaluating hundreds of applicants, a shortlist of 30 startups from around the world has been selected. These companies represent a diverse range of sectors, including health, energy, information technology, deep tech, mobility, and more. Notable innovations among the finalists include glasses that function as self-driving guide dogs, photonic chips with the potential to transform computing, and solutions that turn mining waste into carbon sinks. Other groundbreaking projects feature microrobot swarms for space exploration, AI-powered brain-computer interfaces, and bioelectronic implants targeting brain cancer. The top five startups will pitch live at VivaTech on June 11, with the winner announced at the Global Awards Ceremony on June 12. The grand prize includes a pitch slot at the ceremony, a free Startup Corner at VivaTech 2026, and a spot in the TechCrunch Startup Battlefield 200. This year’s finalists demonstrate boldness and a commitment to building the future, tackling real-world challenges in sustainability, healthcare, and advanced technology. Each of the top 30 startups has already achieved significant recognition, reflecting the high caliber of innovation present at VivaTech 2025.
