Anduril Veterans Secure $24M to Modernize Military Logistics with AI

Rune Technologies, a startup founded by ex-Anduril and military veterans, has raised $24 million in a Series A funding round to modernize military logistics. The company aims to replace outdated manual processes, like Excel spreadsheets and whiteboards, with AI-powered logistics systems. Their product, TyrOS, uses deep learning models to predict supply and demand, optimize resources, and enable operations in disconnected environments. TyrOS can operate on local devices, ensuring functionality even in remote areas without constant internet access. The funding round was led by Human Capital, with participation from several other venture firms. The U.S. Army and Marine Corps have already deployed TyrOS, and Rune aims to expand its reach to other military services. The company is also integrating generative AI into TyrOS to enhance decision-making in real-time battle environments. Rune’s goal is to bridge the gap between tactical and strategic logistics and support long-term military operations, including impacting production decisions in defense industries.
