ASUS Unveils Compact ProArt RTX 5090 OC GPU with Dual-Fan Cooling and Liquid Metal
ASUS has introduced the ProArt RTX 5090 OC Edition, a high-end graphics card designed for creators and small form factor (SFF) systems. The GPU features a sleek black and gold design with a 2.5-slot dual-fan shroud and a decorative wood-patterned trim. It employs a vapor chamber and dual heat sinks for efficient flow-through cooling, exhausting hot air from both the side and back. The card uses liquid metal thermal interface material and is coated with a protective conformal layer to safeguard the PCB against leaks and high humidity. Based on NVIDIA’s Founder’s Edition PCB, it features the 12V-2×6 power connector and complies with GeForce SFF-Ready specifications. Clocked at 2482 MHz, the GPU can reach 2512 MHz in OC Mode and includes a hardware switch to toggle between Performance and Quiet fan profiles. Connectivity options include one HDMI 2.1b port, two DisplayPort 2.1b ports, and a USB Type-C port, supporting up to four displays. ASUS claims the cooling system improves thermal efficiency by 11% while reducing card size by 27%. Pricing in the US is not yet announced, though European listings suggest a cost of around €3,505. The GPU is compatible with ASUS GPU Tweak III for user customization of fan curves and performance settings.
