AWS Updates SAP-C03 and DVA-C03 Certifications with AI Focus

AWS has announced significant updates to its SAP-C03 (Solutions Architect – Professional) and DVA-C03 (Developer – Associate) certifications, integrating generative AI and agentic architectures into the exam content. The revisions, effective October 27, 2026, include new skills such as designing AI-integrated systems with Amazon Bedrock, securing AI agents, and implementing post-quantum cryptography. For SAP-C03, the exam now emphasizes cloud-native patterns, resilience engineering, and DevSecOps practices. DVA-C03 adds AI security tasks and expands container coverage while excluding prompt engineering and SageMaker AI. Both certifications retain their format but shift focus toward AI-assisted development and modern cloud architectures. The changes reflect AWS’s push to align certifications with current industry trends, ensuring professionals are prepared for AI-driven solutions. Candidates must register by October 27, 2026, with exams available from November 17 (SAP-C03) and December 1 (DVA-C03).
