Bolin Adds Roll Axis Feature to Four Outdoor Cameras for Enhanced Control

Bolin Technology has unveiled a new feature for four of its outdoor PTZ cameras: the roll axis control. This feature, which allows the camera’s image block to rotate up to 15 degrees in either direction, is now available in the SD530NX, SD530H, EX1030NX, and EX1030H models. The roll axis can be adjusted using the KBD-1020N joystick controller, giving operators more creative flexibility in capturing shots. This new functionality is part of an expanded feature set, which also includes NDI embedded bridge support and super image stabilization. The roll axis feature can be used to correct misalignments or create more dynamic compositions during live productions and broadcasts. Sapan Doshi, Product Manager at Bolin, emphasized the value of this addition, stating that it not only provides functional advantages but also offers artistic benefits for users. This enhancement opens up new possibilities in camera work for both functional and expressive purposes.
