Glovo launches rider safety feature and training to improve road safety in Nigeria

Glovo, the big tech company wey dey Nigeria, don join body with the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) to launch new safety feature for their riders’ app. Dem also start road safety training for Lagos, wey go later happen for Abuja. The idea na to make road safety better for riders and everybody wey dey on Nigerian roads. The feature dey voluntary, so riders fit opt-in to improve their safety. According to Reni Onafeko, Glovo Nigeria Interim General Manager, the move na part of long-term plan to dey innovate, dey safe, and run business responsibly for Nigeria. The tech dey give riders real-time info about how dem dey ride, so dem fit take safer decisions daily. Officials from Lagos State and FRSC praise Glovo for the training and say e dey help riders sabi correct road safety rules and improve their behaviour while riding.
