Thermaltake Expands Sim Racing Lineup with New Simulator Cockpits and Motion Platforms at COMPUTEX 2025

At COMPUTEX 2025, held in Taipei, Thermaltake unveiled an expanded range of sim racing hardware under the theme ‘Beyond Immersion.’ Aimed at both casual and professional racing simulation enthusiasts, the new lineup features multiple high-performance products, including the GR700, GR900, and GR300 racing simulator cockpits, the GK500 go-kart simulator, and the GM9 6DOF motion platform.

The GR700 offers a reinforced steel frame with direct drive compatibility and a race-inspired design, while the GR900 stands out as Thermaltake’s most rigid platform yet, using 160mm x 40mm aluminum profiles to handle high-force racing setups. For entry-level users, the GR300 combines affordability with key features like a reinforced frame and integrated mounts. The GK500 targets karting fans, supporting both kids and adults with ergonomic adjustments and compatibility with motion systems.

Thermaltake also showcased the GM9 motion platform, capable of six degrees of freedom for a lifelike simulation experience, and confirmed compatibility with SimTools software. These additions complement previous offerings like the GR500 cockpit and GM5 motion system.

In addition to hardware, Thermaltake promotes ecosystem cohesion with compatible wheels, pedal sets, and display mounts. Availability and pricing vary by region, with U.S. details to be announced through official channels.
