Creative Aurvana Ace 3 earbuds offer personalized sound profiles and advanced audio codecs

Creative has launched the Aurvana Ace 3, the latest wireless earbuds in its Aurvana series, featuring a blue translucent design and upgraded internal components. A key highlight is the integration of Mimi Sound personalisation, developed with Mimi Hearing Technologies, which allows users to create a custom hearing profile via a quick hearing test in the Creative app. This profile adjusts playback in real time to match the listener’s hearing capabilities, enhancing the audio experience with richer and more intimate vocals. The earbuds combine xMEMS solid-state drivers with custom-tuned 10mm dynamic drivers, delivering a balanced sound with strong bass and crisp highs. Compatibility extends beyond basic AAC and SBC codecs to include AptX Adaptive, AptX Lossless, and LDAC, providing high-resolution audio streaming. Connectivity uses Bluetooth 5.4 and supports Auracast broadcasting. The lightweight earbuds (4.7g each) feature touch-sensitive controls and support Hybrid Adaptive Noise Cancellation and ambient mode. Other features include wear detection, IPX5 water resistance, USB-C and wireless charging for the case, and a set of five silicone ear tip sizes for a comfortable fit. The earbuds have three microphones per unit for clear calls. Battery life lasts up to seven hours per charge with a total of 26 hours including the charging case. The Aurvana Ace 3 is priced at S$219, while the more affordable Aurvana Ace Mimi, which focuses on Mimi Sound Personalisation without additional codec support, is available at S$189.
