East Africa Investment Forum 2026 to support youth and fintech growth
The 2026 East Africa Investment Forum (EAIF 2026) is set to be a big stage for young innovators and technology entrepreneurs, happening in Dar es Salaam on March 26–27, 2026. The event will gather investors, fintech experts, policymakers, and tech entrepreneurs to discuss how to grow the digital economy in East Africa. Vodacom Tanzania and M-Pesa are joining as partners to help create chances for youth to share ideas, learn from specialists, and form partnerships. According to Mr Shadrack Kamenya, Secretary General of the Tanzania Fintech Association (Tafina), the forum will promote dialogue on policies and strategies to increase fintech investment and development. Participants will also explore new business opportunities, strengthen private-public cooperation, and expand financial services access. The forum is expected to spark innovative tech ideas that will allow young people to create jobs, grow digital businesses, and support a tech-driven economy. Tafina, with over 80 fintech members, will host panel discussions, networking sessions, and strategic dialogues. The event aims to link development projects with funding opportunities through innovation and cross-sector partnerships, boosting the overall digital economy in the region.
