Edifier’s Huazai Cyber speaker combines gaming PC aesthetics with wireless audio

Edifier has released a new wireless speaker named the Huazai New Cyber that visually mimics a gaming PC with exposed electronics, RGB lighting that simulates cooling fans, and design elements resembling PC components like graphics cards and memory slots. Despite its gaming-inspired look, it functions primarily as a Bluetooth speaker with options for USB and analog audio connections. The speaker includes a 4-inch subwoofer, three passive radiators, and two 52mm mid-high drivers, all concealed behind a fabric screen in the lower half. The top half showcases the decorative electronic elements. A 2.8-inch full-color screen adds both aesthetic and practical value, displaying images, custom messages, or system performance metrics such as CPU, RAM, and GPU usage when connected to a PC via USB. It can also show song lyrics when streaming from a smartphone. The device is currently available in China for about $210 in two colors, with no confirmed global release plans. Additionally, it has USB-A and USB-C ports for charging other devices, making it a multifunctional desktop accessory comparable in size to typical bookshelf speakers used in PC setups.
