HMD has announced the release of the Aura 2, a smartphone designed to be affordable and repair-friendly, retailing for just $169 in Australia. While budget smartphones are common, the Aura 2 distinguishes itself by offering self-repairable features, a move uncommon in this price range. It’s powered by the entry-level Unisoc SC9863A processor and features 4GB RAM, running Android 14 Go Edition, a lightweight version of the OS designed for low-powered hardware.
