Thermomix TM7 launches in the US with upgraded touchscreen and expanded features

The Thermomix TM7, the latest generation of the versatile all-in-one kitchen appliance, has officially launched in the United States at a price of $1,699. Designed to replace multiple countertop gadgets, the TM7 can weigh, chop, whisk, steam, sauté, slow cook, and even ferment. The major upgrade over the TM6 is a larger 10-inch touchscreen powered by a faster multicore processor, replacing the previous physical dial for controlling the device. The TM7 also features a sleeker all-black design, a larger steaming basket, and an open-lid cooking option. Vorwerk, the company behind Thermomix, has rebuilt the software platform to allow for future enhancements, including voice control. Although the TM6 has been discontinued, Vorwerk will provide 10 years of support for repairs, service, and parts, while Cookidoo platform updates will continue indefinitely for TM6 users. The TM7 comes with 200 built-in guided recipes, and users can access additional recipes with an optional $65 yearly Cookidoo subscription. This release represents a significant step forward in smart kitchen technology, consolidating multiple cooking functions into a single connected device while enhancing user experience with a more responsive interface and modern design.
