Pixel 10 Pro Storage and Color Options Leaked: Base Model Starts at 128GB
The upcoming Pixel 10 series from Google, expected to launch in August, will feature new storage and color configurations. The Pixel 10 base model will offer 128GB or 256GB storage across four colors: Obsidian, Frost, Indigo, and Lemongrass. The Pixel 10 Pro series, however, will start at 128GB of storage, with options expanding to 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB. Interestingly, Google will restrict color availability based on storage. For instance, the ‘Jade’ color will only be available in the 256GB storage option, while ‘Obsidian,’ ‘Porcelain,’ and ‘Moonstone’ will come with 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB options. This strategy limits customization and may disappoint customers seeking more flexible choices. Moreover, rumors suggest that the Pixel 10 Pro will not upgrade its storage technology, sticking with UFS 3.1 rather than moving to the faster UFS 4.0 standard. The series also includes the Pixel 10 Pro XL and the Pixel 10 Pro Fold, both with different color and storage configurations. Despite the storage limitations, the Pixel 10 lineup promises a boost in battery life and improved wireless charging capabilities.
