Google Pixel Watch 4 Features Dual-Frequency GPS, Faster Charging, and AI Enhancements
The Pixel Watch 4, branded as “Google Pixel Watch 4 with Gemini,” is set to launch with several new features for 2025, bringing upgrades in display, charging, GPS, battery life, and AI interaction. The watch boasts an “Actua 360” display with peak brightness of up to 3,000 nits, improving visibility. The new charger, named the “Quick Charge Dock,” charges the device 25% faster than its predecessor. Dual-frequency GPS allows for more accurate location tracking, especially in crowded or busy environments, matching capabilities of the Galaxy Watch 8. Battery life is confirmed at 30 hours for the 41mm model and 40 hours for the 45mm model with the always-on display activated. The watch retains key health and exercise features such as over 40 exercise modes, ECG, SPO2 monitoring, breathing exercises, HRV, and Loss of Pulse Detection. Gemini AI integration offers quick AI assistant responses and personalized help through wrist raising and provides AI-generated text suggestions mimicking the user’s style. The LTE version supports two years of mobile data through Google FI Wireless, enabling messaging, navigation, and music without calling support. The Pixel Watch 4 will be released around October 2025 alongside the Pixel 10 Pro Fold.
