Razer has introduced its new Thunderbolt 5 Dock Chroma, a docking station targeting creative professionals and gamers. The dock is priced at $399.99 and boasts an array of connectivity options including four Thunderbolt 5 ports, three DisplayPort 2.1 connections, USB-A and USB-C ports, Gigabit Ethernet, and an SD card slot for fast data transfer. It supports up to three 4K displays at 144Hz or one 8K display at 60Hz, making it highly versatile for various use cases. An impressive feature of this dock is the M.2 PCIe Gen 4 slot, allowing up to 8TB of SSD storage expansion within the dock. The Thunderbolt 5 technology provides 120Gb/s bandwidth for swift data transfer and also offers up to 140W of power delivery for laptop charging. The dock’s design features anodized aluminum housing, and its RGB lighting can be customized through Razer’s Synapse utility on macOS.
