Recent leaks have revealed images of what appears to be a prototype of the Google Pixel 10 Pro, posted on a Chinese auction website, Xianyu. These images show both the front and back of the device, matching previously leaked renders of the Pixel 10 series. The device in question seems to be an engineering prototype, with unique markings on the back cover that Google often uses to identify early units. Additionally, the phone’s fastboot menu and a sticker below the camera bar refer to ‘DVT’ (Design Validation Test), further supporting the notion that this is an early prototype. The phone is expected to feature a periscope lens, aligning with earlier leaks about the camera setup. As for specifications, the Pixel 10 series will likely debut with the Tensor G5 chipset, produced by TSMC, marking a significant step for Google’s custom silicon. The Pixel 10 is expected to include a triple rear camera setup, adding a telephoto lens to the mix. The Pro version will likely retain the same camera system as its predecessor. The launch date is still unclear, but it is anticipated that Google will reveal the Pixel 10 series around August 20, 2025.
