Tammy Nam Appointed CEO of AI-Driven Ad Startup Creatopy

Creatopy, an AI-powered digital advertising startup, has appointed Tammy Nam as its new CEO. Nam, previously COO and CMO at PicsArt and former CEO of Viki, was selected for her experience in scaling early-stage startups and her familiarity with European-founded businesses. The company, originally developed in Romania, sought a US-based executive with expertise in marketing technology, making Nam an ideal choice.

Nam has also joined Creatopy’s board, while former CEO Dan Oros has transitioned into an advisory role. The startup, which secured a $10 million Series A funding round from European VCs 3VC and Point Nine last year, has seen rapid growth. Between February 2024 and February 2025, Creatopy reports a 400% increase in mid-market and enterprise revenue, with major clients such as AstraZeneca, NASCAR, and The Economist.

Nam emphasized the company’s strength in attracting large enterprise clients in demanding industries like pharmaceuticals and banking. She highlighted Creatopy’s user-friendly interface, unique product capabilities, and customer service as key differentiators. Additionally, she stressed that as AI technology becomes more widespread, the company’s competitive edge lies in its high-touch customer service and ability to understand client needs. Nam also pointed to brand safety as a priority, ensuring that AI-generated ads comply with brand guidelines. She believes Creatopy’s AI enhances strategic thinking by streamlining the ad creation process, significantly boosting productivity for its clients.
