Renault Unveils Limited Edition Electric 5 Turbo 3E with Supercar Performance

Renault has revealed the exterior of its highly anticipated Renault 5 Turbo 3E, an electric reboot of the iconic Renault 5 Turbo. This limited-edition vehicle, set for a 2027 launch, boasts impressive specifications including 540hp, a top speed of 168 mph, and 0-60mph acceleration in 3.5 seconds. The car features a striking yellow and black livery inspired by the 1982 Renault 5 Turbo rally model, along with a carbon fiber body for lightweight performance. With rear-wheel drive and in-wheel motors, Renault claims supercar-level performance comparable to the Ferrari Roma and McLaren Artura. The 5 Turbo 3E will support fast charging up to 350 kW, allowing a 15-80% charge in just 15 minutes. Only 1,980 individually numbered units will be available, with pre-orders opening soon.
