Winboat: A New Tool Running Windows Apps on Linux Using Containerized Windows
Winboat is an innovative technology that allows Linux users to run Windows applications through a containerized Windows environment, rather than traditional compatibility layers like Wine. Currently in beta, Winboat runs a full Windows instance using Docker and KVM, offering features such as an elegant interface, automated app installation, access to the full Windows desktop, and filesystem integration.
