One UI 7 (Android 15) update now available for Galaxy S23 series in the USA
Samsung has begun rolling out the One UI 7 (Android 15) update to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra in the United States, marking an exciting weekend for owners of the 2023 flagship. While the update was expected to be released in May for most markets, the U.S. is receiving it earlier than anticipated. Currently, the update is being targeted at devices from smaller carriers like US Cellular and Xfinity Mobile. It is expected that the major carriers will join the rollout soon, and the update may reach unlocked devices shortly after. Galaxy S23 FE owners, however, will have to wait a bit longer as the Fan Edition model isn’t included in this initial rollout. Samsung plans to release the update for the Galaxy S23 FE in May, following the initial rollout in South Korea. The update can be checked by users through the ‘Software update’ section in their phone’s Settings. Those looking for the firmware can also find it on the SamMobile firmware archive.
