Mini 3-in-1 M.2 SSD Dock Offers Portable Storage Expansion and 4K Output for Smartphones

The Mini 3-in-1 M.2 SSD Dock is a new device aimed at expanding smartphone storage and offering additional functionality. Designed for mobile use, it allows users to install their own M.2 2230 SSDs with capacities of 1, 2, or 4 TB, providing a maximum speed of 10 GBit/s. The dock connects via USB-C, enabling convenient hand-held use, and features an HDMI 2.0 port capable of 4K resolution at 60 Hz, provided the connected device supports this. Additionally, the dock supports USB Power Delivery with up to 100 watts, making it possible to charge devices while in use. Its magnesium-aluminum alloy body, measuring just 10 millimeters thick and weighing 54.5 grams, is designed to dissipate heat during high-speed operations. The dock is currently available through a crowdfunding campaign, with a ‘Super Early Bird’ price of $89, though shipping is extra. As with all crowdfunding products, there is a risk that the final product may differ from the advertised specifications or might not reach the market. The device is particularly useful for users who frequently shoot videos or take photos and need additional storage without upgrading to higher-capacity smartphones.
