Rox AI Raises Funding, Achieving $1.2 Billion Valuation for AI Sales Platform

Rox AI, a startup founded in 2024 by Ishan Mukherjee, who previously co-founded Pixie and served as New Relic’s chief growth officer, has reached a $1.2 billion valuation following its latest funding round. The round included lead investment from returning backer General Catalyst. At the time of the funding, Rox AI was projected to generate $8 million in annual recurring revenue for 2025. The company specializes in autonomous AI agents designed to enhance sales productivity by integrating with existing software like Salesforce and Zendesk. These agents monitor accounts, research prospects, update CRM systems, and provide actionable insights to sales teams, effectively consolidating multiple sales software tools into one platform. Rox’s competitors include established revenue intelligence providers such as Gong and Clari, as well as newer AI-driven sales development platforms like 11x, Artisan, and the recently launched Monaco. Rox’s customers reportedly include Ramp, MongoDB, and New Relic. By offering a unified AI-powered sales platform, Rox aims to streamline sales operations and provide a more intelligent CRM experience, potentially reshaping how companies manage sales pipelines.
