Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic Prototype Leaked on eBay, Reveals New Design and Features
A prototype of the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 Classic has surfaced on eBay, providing concrete evidence that the upcoming smartwatch will feature a ‘squircle’ (square-circle hybrid) design, similar to the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The device, listed as model SM-L505U, is a 46mm version with LTE connectivity and 64GB of storage. The prototype package includes a leather strap, which may vary by color, and a magnetic charging adapter with a USB-C connector. Notably, the Watch8 Classic is expected to bring back the rotating bezel last seen on the Watch6 Classic from 2023. Additionally, it introduces an extra button, referred to as a crown, though it is likely not a rotating crown, mirroring the design of the Watch Ultra. The left side of the watch features a prominent speaker. Internally, the Galaxy Watch8 Classic is anticipated to use the same Exynos W1000 processor as its predecessor but with larger batteries for improved endurance. The official launch is rumored to take place at Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked event in mid-July, alongside new foldable devices. The leak offers early insights into Samsung’s design direction and hardware choices for its next-generation smartwatch lineup.
